Methodology

Cooking to me is a labor of love between the land, my experience in the kitchen and you!

In this way, the concept of reciprocity is fundamental to the methodology of Brooke Cooks.

To remember where our food comes from, to bless the food and the hands that prepare it, and the experience of nourishment upon the first bite and beyond.

Since I come from an Ayurveda and womb-wise plant-taught background, I cook from a subtle energetic perspective that is seasonally appropriate, flexible to your unique needs and most importantly, nourishing to the mind, body and spirit. 

This also means I can cook to a variety of diets - plant-based, paleo, gluten-free, etc.

All the food I cook is ideally organic and easy-to-digest to the best of my ability. I do not cook pork but cook with all other proteins.

As for oils, I never use canola, vegetable, or grapeseed oils. Mostly, I use extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, butter and some sesame oil here and there.

At the end of the day, I hope my food brings you blessings, joy and radiant health & well-being!

Hi there - I’m Brooke

As a former collegiate soccer player, I had to learn how to nourish my body at a very high level to support my growing 6’2” frame. Nourishment was a necessity!

During college, I continued to follow this curiosity towards nutrition and decided to pursue a degree in dietetics. As I started studying chemistry and physics, however, it just didn’t resonate so I put my dreams on the back burner until I discovered the ancient holistic wellness science of Ayurveda.

Through this elemental science of the mind, body and spirit, I found my true home and started to return to my natural rhythms and help women return to theirs as well as a 600-hr Ayurveda Health Coach.

Over time, as I began to deepen my studies of womb-wise women’s health, so did my time in the kitchen. Now I’m taking all of my life experience as an athlete, holistic wellness coach, & medicine woman to nourish women through the transitional moments of their lives.

Food is how I continue to find sustainable well-being within my own life and I am passionate about sharing this food wisdom and beyond with other women like you!
